MYLA LYONS
Myla's research focuses on promoting health equity among Black populations. Her primary line of research examines HIV prevention and PrEP uptake among Black women through culturally specific social psychological interventions. She also investigates social and structural factors associated with HIV care adherence among Black men. More broadly, her work applies an intersectional social psychological lens to understanding health inequities, including those related to HIV, cancer pain, and uterine fibroid care.
